When travelling Westbound on the M62, take the fifth exit (A570), signposted St Helens and Lea Green Park & Ride. After approx. 1.7 km go straight across traffic island and proceed for a further 1.2 km. At traffic lights, exit left into Elton Head Road (B5204) signposted Rainhill and Whiston Hospital. Continue for 220m filtering right, at lights, into Sutton Heath Road (The Broads). Turn half left, after 60m, continuing along The Broads. Continue for approx. 200m [beware multiple speed humps] passing, on the right, 1/ Horsey Mere Gardens, 2/ Marthem Gardens and 3/ Higham Gardens. Turn right into 4/ Hickling Gardens and then, at the "T" junction, left into Womack Gardens. After 40m turn right, continuing along Womack Gardens where pedestrian access to Womack Lodge will be seen dead ahead. On foot, turn right and proceed past numbers 33 and 35. Parking is available by turning right into the private parking area. Immediately passed the fence, to the left, is an allocated space in front of the garage, sign posted Womack Lodge.

When travelling Eastbound on the M62, take the second exit (A570), signposted St Helens and Lea Green Park & Ride. Thereafter, the directions are the same as for Westbound above.
